G&K Associates was founded with the belief that hard work and integrity are important for developing business, and that strong relationships must be created and maintained at both the represented manufacturer and the customer. We strive to understand our client’s corporate philosophy and business, and try to function as an extension of them in our market. The quality of the relationship we have with our principals and having success together is much more important that having a large number of principals. In summary, creating a trusting relationship with our principals is extremely important to us, and we are dedicated to those relationships that we create.

Location

G&K Associates is located in the center of the automotive market, in the Metro Detroit area in southeast Michigan. The short proximity to key automotive customer locations allows G&K Associates to better support projects and issues, and to have timely meetings with customers.

Co-founder of G&K Associates (Matt Kern)

Matt Kern has a Mechanical Engineering degree and has been working in the automotive industry since 1997, beginning as a sales engineer. During that time, he has achieved success developing part contracts and supporting the resulting downstream business with a variety of customers and applications. Involvement with diverse product lines coupled with a range of customer experiences at both the corporate and manufacturing levels has provided him a solid foundation to understanding the industry to be able to support the growth of principals’ businesses.
